I have been working at Fluid Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People who's not in power truly care about the product.

    Cons

    Lack of Diversity.
Roughly 3 Blacks FT and 1 that's a temp they refuse to hire.
The Latino population stays as line workers and kept to the back while the Blacks walk on pins and needles wondering about their job.

    Advice to Management

Stop with the "Good Old Boy, Doesn't fit the Par" syndrome. Very sad state of affairs along with opening up the door for letigation.

I have been working at Fluid Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some of my co workers are truly Hard workers and great people to converse with.

    Cons

Pass the Buck, Very Visble lack of Diversity, Contract Workers been there for YEARS in hopes of getting hired, but the lies continue from Management. From the handful of Blacks there (maybe 5), only 2 are full time employees which in today's market just boggles the mind.
The clear and present Harassement of Latino line workers from Management is highly suspect and possible openings for lawsuits.
The CEO(s), and I've went thru 2 already, isn't aware of the Frat House attitude that goes on there. You have one manager from a department dating a Human Resource department worker, got ethics?!?
You have another Manager there which works exclusively with 3rd party technicians that has been complained about for years to HR, but he's still there, still Harrassing and still getting promoted.

    Advice to Management

Wake Up for crying out loud!! FM makes a great product, but it's becoming more and more prevalent of having a Bad Reputation to work for.
Have some type of diversity training, have the interns and the temps be a part of the surveys on the gripes everyone have, it's about inclusion not seclusion.

I worked at Fluid Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of Freedom tot ravel and see the world but management lies to employees, some great folks there willing to assist

    Cons

lack of communication, motivation is lacking no real training program and no manuals to assist in fixing thosecheap built machines

    Advice to Management

go find some other company to destroy, because you all have done that with fluid so if a manager comes to your company decline

    Pros

Lot of different commodities to work on, so it could be interesting for some.

    Cons

Engineering has no clue and real world knowledge of how things work in the real world. Bill of Material for products are not completed by engineering. Most of the issues are not caught till the Product is on the Production line when workers are trying to assemble. If you are in Materials group you are left holding the bag trying to look for parts to keep Production going.

    Advice to Management

Management lays off people twice a year like clockwork. So be careful about Management statements (if you are interviewing for a job)

I worked at Fluid Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunity to travel, good salary and benefits

    Cons

Way too much adminstrative work for management level people; so much so that it took away from their value to the company. Very high rotation of personnel; especially at the senior management levels.

    Advice to Management

There have been enough cuts. Now invest some money in solidifying the company's number 1 position in the marketplace.
