    Pros

    Fluor is very large multinational corporation with more than 100 years of business experience and continues to build on that experience. And this is my 3rd employment / contractor hitch with this top shelf constructor.

    Cons

    Large CMT means it can be sometimes difficult get timely support for HSE initiatives, corporate presence on larger projects.

    Advice to Management

    Create the opportunities to present constructive suggestions directly to managers at the corporate level.

    I have been working at Fluor full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Survival job only!
    Pay is OK,
    Nothing more to say here as they don't seem to get it in a advanced world Fluor is lagging!

    Cons

    Cannot get a paycheck right (21century and missinget something on pay check..takes weeks to fix! This is the one thing that should be right if nothing else!)
    Very Bad management;
    Intimidation to do unsafe work (first on layoff or fire people);
    People that hire Pals with no experience (Pals hiring Pals);
    Always looking for Material that should already be in place;
    No room for advancement

    Advice to Management

    Change the Good old boys club way of hiring especially with this unionized name hire! Interview before hire!...If nothing else get a person's paycheck right! Fluor expects people to be on time and working everyday and every shift BUT cannot get a paycheck right. Same old Boys club who ishould great at Intimidation but can't pay a person for what they have done for Fluor! Last of all stop with the Intimidation because the client and people all know that this is wrong and Fluor better hope no one gets hurt!
