I worked at Fluor as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people I worked with were very helpful whenever I had questions or needed help with something and were readily available.

    Cons

If you don’t like to work, then this is not the job for you. There was overtime and if you stay with them you have to travel. I unfortunately was not able to travel, so did not continue with Fluor.

I worked at Fluor as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked on the government side of Fluor's businesses in Afghanistan, which from my understanding is not as well as working on the corporate side, but all in all it was a good company to work for. The salary for Contract Administrators was not as much as it was with previous contractors I worked for in the past but they more than make up for it in bonuses.

    Cons

Working on the government side of things in Afghanistan it was a lot of favoritism in the workplace, if your were a friend of a lover of the right person you would excel, where as if you worked hard and had experience you would at the least keep your job.

I have been working at Fluor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A lot of nice people, good family culture, and pretty professional.

    Cons

People can sometimes have the tendency to not reach out to new employees.

    Advice to Management

Pretty plain and simple, be open to the suggestions of your employees.

I worked at Fluor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Diverse working environment, room for promotion, multitude of learning platforms, ability to travel, a conglomerate, and friendly management.

    Cons

Delays of work because of government or politics, insurance nor 401K not company matched, insurance very expensive and deducted weekly
