I worked at Fluor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is ok during the up cycle. The alternate off -Friday and vacation is also good.

    Cons

Stay away from this place. They will hire like crazy as soon as they have some backlog by throwing a little bit of money at you. As soon as the market goes down you will be gone. All I can say is Stay away !

    Advice to Management

Stop making the company a sweatshop and invest time and money in people and help them foster.

I worked at Fluor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Not really anything good to say about this man except he will get in a hole and do work if required but that comes with a cost. I worked for him for 3 years...

    Cons

His constant demeaning attitude is contradictory and counter productive to production and moral among the crew. He has since moved on to ccsi so beware

    Advice to Management

Don't hire him back, he prevents good hands from wanting to work with a great company

I have been working at Fluor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

decent pay and alternate Friday's off

    Cons

bloated management of buddies who take care of each other
every year or two the company changes structure of business lines for no real reason and it makes me wonder if they're hiding poor performance or other issues
    horrible insurance and other "benefits"

    Advice to Management

it's amazing how few leaders are technology aware. if they could, they'd still run the business with rotary phones and typewriters. the frat boy mentality of these overpaid loafers needs to end if this company wants to survive and be profitable.
