I have been working at Fluor full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Extremely professional environment. If there is a 9am meeting at Fluor, it starts at 9, not 9:05. They only hire the best. Hard to get in but worth it.

    Cons

I really do not think there are any.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at Fluor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good employees who are dedicated and willing to help anytime; good environment; good pay.

    Cons

Too much nepotism; benefits could be better.

    Advice to Management

Need to take better care of their dedicated and valuable employees. Too many good employees are laid off in down times in order to keep relatives and friends of current/former management whether they have a work ethic or not.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with the times, and give more opportunities to young grads to be able to retain them

I have been working at Fluor full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

flexible, good if you like the do-boy culture.

    Cons

No clear direction, no say on project, no backbone. They see you as a billable and the folks they brought from oyher projects act like no-it-alls.

    Advice to Management

Pick projects that you have some say in operations not a Cinderella case.

I have been working at Fluor full-time

    Pros

the pay is great ,you will aquire raises offen if you show you're degree of skill is worthy of a raise ,and they are very efficient in thier, and they are diligent about training the youth

    Cons

thier parking on lot on jobs ,is my biggest pet peeve ,i think they should organise better times crews come in so u dont have to fight traffic to get in and out of work

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is did they should research and check people's skill level before they dictate a wage for that person because there are a lot of people that have more skills but get paid less than others and are way better at production

    I worked at Fluor full-time

    Pros

    Atmosphere on site was ok

    Cons

Fluor did not meet any type of expectations for treatment upon closure of project. We were just told to get our personal items and leave with benefits ceasing that night at midnight.
