I worked at Flushing Hospital Medical Center full-time

    Pros

    Staff is mostly great.
    Flexible hours.
    1199 is great insurance.
    Safe atmosphere.

    Cons

Mismanagement of money, AC and other miscellaneous building repairs that are put to the back of the shelf. No employee incentives and or ways showing appreciation for our hard work. Even on Christmas and or Nurses week, its pot luck.
    No 401k. Only 403b.

    Advice to Management

Fire the directors of the hospital and get brand new ones who are younger and more willing to change things for the better of everyone and not just their own pockets.
