I worked at Folding Guard Company full-time (More than 5 years)
Small company near midway airport. Some experienced talented employees driven to win are carrying the company. Products have great potential to succeed and meet a niche in market. Driven employees want to see company succeed!
No team spirit. No goals or mentors. Management is driven by profit only. Management driven and encouraged by non experienced and self centered employees. Extremely poor line of communication; almost zero. No management accountability. Communication to upper management poor and erroneous. Company location great if you live on south side of Chicago.
Advice to Management
Start with team building management that shares credit with its employees. Pay employees competitive salaries. Create legit training program that allows employees future growth and credit for experience and what they have contributed to company. Don't spend all day in office; know your employees! Conduct meaningful meetings with substance. Share day to day operations with company employees, not only friends who want to discuss mutual topics. Lead by example, not by self centered motivation. Start over with top management!
