    You learn alot when it comes to customer service.

    Cons

    When rush ends. So do the hours. And pay is minimum wage.

    Everyone was really nice that I worked with. If you ever needed help with anything anyone would help you.

    Cons

    sometimes theres slow days where you literally have little to no work to do but you can not be seen not working.

    I worked at Follett (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    I enjoyed my co-workers and the hours were good. Mostly 8-5.

    Cons

    Constantly having more work put up n you because of unrealistic labor budgets. No raises or bonuses for the past 2 years. The textbook industry is a dying industry. No security whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

    Start treating your employees better or the already high turnover rate will continue to grow.

    Pros

    Great immediate management. Upper management is not so much.

    Cons

    salary not competitive at all; no resources for career advancement; no consistency between what the management does and says.

    Advice to Management

    If the company is not doing financially great, you need to find other ways to motivate your employees. Otherwise you're gonna lose the best people you have.
