I worked at Food Lion part-time

    Pros

The only pro was getting to see discounts and deals that I could use after work.

    Cons

Pay. The pay was $7.25, which is crap compared to the other grocery stores. Also management sucked. In the winter, they made us stand by the doors at the registers, and they wouldn't allow us to wear a jacket unless we bought one that had food lion on it. We couldn't afford the jackets, because of our crappy pay.

    Advice to Management

The comfort and needs of your employees should come first. Your employees make or break your store.

Stay on the same page hold more department and store meetings, support associates build moral by thanking associates for a job well done.

I worked at Food Lion part-time

    Pros

    Really can't think of any

    Cons

Loved working here but the pay isn't enough for what an Office Assistant does plus some of the office positions should be full-time.

    Advice to Management

Pay more! Customer Service is the hardest job of them all and honestly to me they should be paid more! Aldi's cashier's make 12 an hour, THE CASHIERS!
