I have been working at Food Maxx full-time for more than 10 years

      Pros

They have good benefits. Medical/vision/dental, 401(k) in addition to retirement plan through union.

      Cons

Understaffed. No employee appreciation starting from corporate. Good employees get penalized when they don’t pick up everyone else’s slack. Corrupt union care more about the dollar than protecting its members.

      Advice to Management

Schedule more cashiers and clerks helpers. Give us the man power we need to help our customers and maintain good store conditions.

I worked at Food Maxx part-time for more than a year

        Pros

Sick days At least they pay minimum wage

        Cons

Extremely understaffed and overworked Management is given very little to work with (I cant blame them) Always extremely busy Negative environment Exhausting personalities and work

        Advice to Management

Hire more, I know its not really up to you its more corporate, but the whole company really needs a rework. The environment is tired and vapid, and there's never enough people on staff for how many shoppers there are.
