I worked at Foot Locker part-time

    Pros

Good experience as retail sales associate. Gained in depth understanding of inventory & management strategies.

    Cons

Inconsistent scheduling. Staff was treated by hierarchical totem based on years worked at store. Minimum wage to start, with commission bonuses if sales were pushed heavily enough, but difficult to do so.

    Advice to Management

Increase consistency of scheduling. It's great that hours always worked around availability, but the frequency of scheduling was based on week's prior sales & I struggled to find a healthy and consistent balance of work and free time.

I am a sneaker head myself and I associate with a lot of people. Plus I can attract many customers by my looks and the amount of people.
