I worked at Footlocker.com/Eastbay full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very friendly workspace. Lost of cool projects to work on in terms of data integrity improvement and automization.

    Cons

Old computing systems in place. Hard to motivate old workers to migrate. Communication could be improved.

I have been working at Footlocker.com/Eastbay full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay and benefits with flexible hours

    Cons

FL is going through major changes updating the 40+ year old electronic and organizational infrastructure. This major overhaul creates a plethora of issues that require "workarounds" and quick fixes. A lot of the processes in this company have been in place for 20+ years and not changed one bit so they are repetitive, mundane and time consuming. Reporting can be a nightmare due to differences in data from multiple programs. The fast paced environment comes from all these changes being done at the same time and expected to complete them twice as fast as normal...

    I worked at Footlocker.com/Eastbay

    Pros

    Casual attire and free coffee

    Cons

Culture/politics/pay structure drive issues. Increased responsibilities do not translate to recognition for contributions, corresponding pay or the ability to influence necessary changes.

I have been working at Footlocker.com/Eastbay full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Casual dress with a laid back atmosphere. Great discount on product. By boss does not hover over me.

    Cons

Average starting pay. Thought the pay should be higher for the job I am performing.

    Advice to Management

Pay for what the job actually is.
