I worked at Footlocker.com/Eastbay (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible schedule
    Free coffee
    Weekends not required
    Discounts

    Cons

Pay rate is low. Job title didn't doesn't allow you to do your job. When resolving a customer complaint, you don't have that access to resolve especially when they ask for a refund or an exchange. At those moment, you have to ask a supervisor for permission which makes no sense as to why you would have to when you could do it yourself. Cause then, the customer gets mad at you.

    Advice to Management

Allow csr to issue exchanges and refunds without involving a supervisor. Raise pay rate.

    I worked at Footlocker.com/Eastbay full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is good training and well-established processes.

    Cons

Unable to implement change/improvements. The answer is always just, "work more", not "smarter". Mandatory OT every day and every-other Saturday for stretches of months puts a major damper on anything positive. How can employees be happy and productive in this environment? The answer seemed to be that it didn't matter...
