I worked at Ford Credit full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Opportunity for growth but you have to be extremely flexible.

    Cons

Must put in a lot of "casual overtime" for most dealer credit positions.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your subordinates with an open mind and never forget the meaning of perspective.

I have been working at Ford Credit full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great management, easy hours depending on the job, fun environment. Everybody that's worked there long enough knows that helping each other is what Ford does.

    Cons

Not great pay for entry level, not always easy to get promoted to a job you want. Lots of moving around

    Advice to Management

Maybe relook at the salary grades for entry level positions; there's a lot of responsibility that comes with them even though they are entry level.

I worked at Ford Credit full-time

    Pros

Good cross functional exposure, well-recognized and established company, always learning something new rotating into new positions.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

    Be more open!

I have been working at Ford Credit full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Great insurance and quarterly benefits

    Cons

Don't expect to advance unless you're cute new hire in a short skirt

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your long time employees. If you encourage them to get a degree reward them with that promotion you've been hanging over their head when they get it. Don't tell them they won't be interviewed just because of a lame reason

I have been working at Ford Credit full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Health insurance, 401K matching, vacation plus the option to purchase more vacation, quarterly bonuses, most people are great to work with

    Cons

Micro managing, work loads are not distributed evenly, minimal raises, favoritism, no room to grow with company without a degree.

    Advice to Management

Employees do not feel valued. Your employees are you most valuable asset, treat them that way.

Mgmt Decent at communicating w employees.
You can buy more vacation time.

    Cons
