    Pros

casual dress code, some nice, smart people

    Cons

no work/life balance HR leadership cares more about pleasing the president and other management than putting in place modern HR policies behind the times in technology and IT support; don't expect to have you help desk ticket even answered, IT leadership yells, screams, throws things, treats like children

I have been working at Foresters Financial full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Foresters Financial has a great training program and the management team provides their support 100%. The working environment is very collaborative and challenging others is encouraged. Great collaborative environment where challenging others is encouraged. This industry gives reps/advisers the opportunity to make a significant amount of income.

    Cons

Very high turnover rate. Must be highly motivated and must not get discouraged by rejection. Work/Life balance could be affected if you have get a good start from the beginning .

I worked at Foresters Financial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

When it comes down to it, you are in sales. Nothing else matters but making the sale. So there is potential but at a long term once you have build a wide portfolio.

    Cons

Pay while training is ridiculous. Zero work-life balance. Treated like a child who is in school.

I worked at Foresters Financial for more than a year

    Pros

If you are interested in finance and insurance, this might be the place for you! - Paid training while studying to receive licenses - You will learn a lot in the field long after training is done - It's possible to make six figures here if you are good at closing on appointments

    Cons

    - No benefits except bonuses - You will be required to go to events and produce your own leads - If your referral generation isn't strong on appointments be prepared to spend many nights calling to fill your schedule - If you aren't a natural, work/life balance will suffer

I worked at Foresters Financial full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There are literally no pros to this company. If you live locally then you will have a good commute other than that, it's a paycheck - No more and no less.

    Cons

If you are a person of color this is not a welcoming company. The blatant favoritism that occurs is very saddening. Not to mention that the company does not have a diversity and inclusion strategy but pretends that it's welcoming to all cultures and races - don't believe it - it's a lie. This is further supported by the company's leadership team. Visit foresters.com and you will not see any people of color. Your job description will be a moving target and more and more just gets piled up on you - and your pay will not increase. No pension plan 401k plan is highly restrictive Health insurance is subpar No work life balance No flexible work schedule No short term disability No maternity leave No work from home privileges as part of your standing schedule. Too much favoritism, which demonstrates a lack of professionalism. Never should a VP have a closed door lunch with only select individuals on their team and walk out afterwards cackling. Looks very shady. Nor should they have conversations about another team member's projects with select individuals on their team and purposely not engage the person who is the center of the discussion. Not to mention when those same VPs choose to only engage their staff members who are not of color in conversation it becomes extremely disheartening. If you are a minority you will feel isolated- and that's because you are!
