I have been working at Forever 21 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Friendly co-workers. Decent pay. Nice customers.

    Cons

Horrible work/life balance. Sometimes you're at work until 1am depending on how busy it is. Corporate gives unrealistic goals with not many hours. Blames everything on customer service when we only have enough hours to have 1 associate on the sales floor.

    Advice to Management

INVEST IN YOUR TEAM/STORES WITH HOURS. QUIT THE LOD SEGMENTS.

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Usually keep pretty busy so time passes quickly and you get rotated through jobs (greeter, fitting rooms, putbacks, cashier) so you're not always doing the exact same thing every day.

    Cons

Putbacks are a pain because there are a thousand similar but slightly different items in the store and sometimes in a shipment you'll only receive one single item (not multiple copies in different sizes). Also there'res more clothes out on the floor than can fit on the racks. So the end result is stuff just gets shoved in places randomly. The greeter job is the worst. You just stand there for 4-6 hours saying hi and bye. Also, the pay is lower than what you could get at other mall retail stores.

    Advice to Management

Nothing is wrong with this place there's just no hours to give

I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Allows for you to get experience in fashion retail. You will most likely like working with your fellow coworkers.

    Cons

You get hardly any hours. Store is always in shambles which is odd because they're not understaffed. If you're not understaffed, but your store is in shambles, maybe you should schedule your employees.

    Advice to Management

Understand that the people you hire, more often than not have bills to pay, and ends to meet that extend more than a phone bill so the one to two day a week setup you have right now needs to change.

I worked at Forever 21 (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's always a favorable store to shop at. So being able to arrange the floor plans according to what we think the customers liked was always a rewarding experience

    Cons

I do not mind working retail, but the effort put in did not meet the pay. There were a lot of tasks assigned and expected, although most of the sales associates are offered minimum wage

    Advice to Management

More pay! These workers need an incentive to maintain and keep up with the store considering how busy and hectic Forever 21 can get

I worked at Forever 21 (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You get to purchase the merchandise first.

    Cons

They work their employees to death, very long hours. The store was never organized. They had an high turnover rate. They don't like to promote within. They laid off excellent employees without transferring them, overall it's a terrible company to work for.
