I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Allows for you to get experience in fashion retail. You will most likely like working with your fellow coworkers.

    Cons

You get hardly any hours. Store is always in shambles which is odd because they're not understaffed. If you're not understaffed, but your store is in shambles, maybe you should schedule your employees.

    Advice to Management

Understand that the people you hire, more often than not have bills to pay, and ends to meet that extend more than a phone bill so the one to two day a week setup you have right now needs to change.

    Cons

I talked to inanimate objects all day.

I worked at Forever 21 (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's always a favorable store to shop at. So being able to arrange the floor plans according to what we think the customers liked was always a rewarding experience

    Cons

I do not mind working retail, but the effort put in did not meet the pay. There were a lot of tasks assigned and expected, although most of the sales associates are offered minimum wage

    Advice to Management

More pay! These workers need an incentive to maintain and keep up with the store considering how busy and hectic Forever 21 can get

    Pros

You get to purchase the merchandise first.

    Cons

They work their employees to death, very long hours. The store was never organized. They had an high turnover rate. They don't like to promote within. They laid off excellent employees without transferring them, overall it's a terrible company to work for.

    Pros

There isn't much pros I can say about this company besides the fact that they've come a LONG way with their visual merchandising.

    Cons

The discount isn't worth a dime, trust me. So far I've been at a store with no GM and no structure. The sales associates aren't trained whatsoever and aren't aware of where clothes go. I mean ..that's their job along with customer service.

    Advice to Management

Hire the right people, people that actually care about their job and the way the store actually looks. It'll make EVERYONES job so much easier

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's a good job to have as a high school student. You get to work with and meet a lot of young people.

    Cons

Closing shifts can be brutal. High turnover rate for employees so you often work with newbies. The employee discount is not good.

    Advice to Management

Always be sure that there are enough employees scheduled for closing shifts. Be sure to take notice of hard work.
