    Pros

    Meeting new people, employee discount

    Cons

Always on your feet, outfit restrictions, working the dressing/fitting room by yourself (and it can get really crazy), really young managers that seem to not have enough management experience, only receive a 10% discount, if you close then there's a very high chance that you'll still be at work WAY after the store closes

    Advice to Management

Hire more experienced managers, have more than 1 or 2 people working in each department

I worked at Forever 21 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It was a good starting point to get my foot in the door towards my career. You form good working relationships with coworkers. I liked the casual/trendy vibe of the Corporate world.

    Cons

The major complaint of most is the pay, it's way too low and not fair across the board. You can have a tenure employee with a workload of many getting paid less than a new employee with no experience. This is not a Company to stay in for the long run.

    Advice to Management

Value your talent, take it down a few notches on the favoritism, obtain feedback from your employees to what they need to succeed. Give a fair opportunity to all for growth.

I worked at Forever 21 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Early hours and off most weekends
    Medical Insurance if your fulltime
Some Coworkers share passion and knowledge of industry

    Cons

    Creative restrictions
    Rigid upper management
Workload excessive for the small team
    Unrealistic deadlines
    Manager created stressful environment

It felt more like the directive was the boss rather than a guide and creativity was thwarted right from the start. If you're looking for a start in the fashion industry where your creative vision can be discovered and taken into consideration, then this is not the place for you. You will have to commit many years before that's even an option.

    Advice to Management

Allow team to think for themselves on occasion
    Learn stress management
