I have been working at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Depending on your style or what you prefer the job can actually be fun. Management is great and work with you as best they can. Employees there are young and mostly nice.

    Cons

They have a terrible discount of only 10% and the company itself doesn't care about associates at all. Very stingy with raises and you have to promote their terrible credit card.

    Advice to Management

Stop caring only about making money. I know that's the business, but without good employees that is hard to achieve.

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

*Meeting new people while you work
    *Getting to interact with customers
*Seeing the new clothes before customers
*Being able to put the clothes on hold
    *Gaining customer service skills
*Small employee discount..but its a discount

    Cons

*Too much drama for a work place
    *Scheduled outside of availability
    *Cliques are formed
*When new people are hired, the "older employees" hours get cut
*Will schedule you when you requested off
*If you're in college and want to go home for some breaks (holidays), you will more than likely be schedule at a ridiculous time and will have to drive back to be at work
*Will give "write ups" for some of the most ridiculous things
*Sometimes don't even listen to what some associates have to say even though managers will tell you to come and talk to them if you have any problems

    Advice to Management

If you're going to hire college students, be sure to take into consideration that school comes first and school is a big priority for most. Also, when some of the associates aren't from the town where the store is and need to go home over breaks, take into consideration where they are from.

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

its a good part-time job, enough work to keep you busy but not enough to overwhelm you (except the holidays, then it gets a little crazy)

    Cons

there is too much change when it comes to floorset, like they move everything around in the store every few weeks so its difficult for customers as well as employees to find things.

    Advice to Management

    be better organized

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Co workers
    Flexible scheduling
If you plan on being there for a year, its a good place to start.

    Cons

Nearly impossible to move up in the company. I was with them for almost 6 years and the only way to move up is kiss a**.
If you are part time you get NO benefits.
Open on easter! For claiming to be a christian store, I don't understand why they are open easter.
Some managers need to learn not to pick favorites when it comes to employees and treat everyone equally.
You are supposed to get a raise every year but you literally have to remind them, once I got the excuse of "we aren't giving raises this year".
    Only 10% discount!

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your employees with more respect and give praise when your employees do good (sales, good close, etc). Treat everyone equally.
And to the company in general, if you're going to expect a lot from your employees maybe give them better discounts, yearly raises, etc.

I worked at Forever 21 part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - i guess depends on your location, but my coworkers and managers were very friendly and down-to-earth.
    - flexible hours
    - rise to management position is possible, if you're willing to show effort.
    - dress code isn't that strict, which is always a plus.
    - its a nice first job to have as teen to get some experience and get a taste of the real world.

    Cons

    - minimum wage pay
    - raise is minimal
    - dealing with a few rude and unreasonable customers sometimes

    Advice to Management

I would ask to raise the wage because some of my coworkers had left for that sole reason.
