I have been working at FormFactor full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

My work schedule is very flexible with the ability to work from home. Of course, not everyone is able to do that, but my job as a CAD designer is great...I don't have to drive 40 miles every day into the office.

    Cons

I really cannot think of any downsides.

    Advice to Management

I don't have any. I am very pleased with my immediate and upper management.

Test & Measure industry leader (mkt share, technology), solid leadership team, strong new culture -- inclusive, high expectation, principled. No politics.

    Cons

No cons, just challenges and opportunities. If you have the right DNA, you will grow and thrive.

    Advice to Management

    Stay the course.

    Pros

    - Excellent amount of communications and transparency of work from CEO on down. Never seen so much of data shared with employees.
    - Huge amount of competency CEO on down. No their stuff inside out.
    - Superb work environment. Totally collaborative.
    - Very data driven. Obsessively so. If you are engineer , you will love it.
    - Even when topic matter is tough, Management talks like adults. No temper tantrums.

    Cons

    - None really. I mean it.

I have been working at FormFactor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Continuous learning from different process is limitless! Challenging! Nice gym!

    Cons

Not profitable 3 years in a row, continue to downsize and cost reduction. Uncertain. Support 24/7 and weekends. Stress level is high.Politicking is huge.Good working employees have been laid off or resign. No loyalty and does not protect good employees. If your good in 'talking' and presenting and NOT working it's a good place to be, just need to jump in on every email thread and talk the talk but not walk the walk this is a good place to be...

    Advice to Management

A lot of floating Directors, Staff Engineers and Senior Principals that need to streamlines and who really does NOT go in the line or inside Fab. Not deserving of the salaries in regards with their outputs.Need to flash out the employees that every time in the PC and nothing to give to the company...
