I worked at Formica full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Quality of Product and Analytics

    Cons

Beware of what this company says they will do, versus what they actually do. Was brought into the position with promises of tuition reimbursement (only paid half of what I was promised after fighting the company for over a year) Said lots of opportunities to move up within the company, but truth is upper management is a bunch of favored employees who have been with the company decades and promotion from within... won't happen unless you're a favorite of them. Promotions not based on skill set, nor accomplishments

    Advice to Management

Take a closer look at how you treat employees and living up to your word. Upper management leads by intimidation, not motivation. They are eager to jump on the backs of other's successes without giving due credit to employees. Culture is dictatorial and most outside employees walk on eggshells around corporate management due to their lack of communication and unwillingness to

    Pros

Very experienced employees. Days go very fast. Large business acting as a small business. Talented group of front line managers.

    Cons

Current employees are not recognized for their commitment and goal achievements. Poor communication from local upper management. Upper management lacks professionalism in meetings.

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your employees and you will see less turnover at key positions.
