I worked at Forrester Construction Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good location and thats about it

    Cons

Favoritism and cliques. Bad communication between HR & staff, HR will let go employees without telling their managers so tasks & responsibilities get tossed around with no-one to do them. Some employees are the ONLY person who knows how to do a certain task, resulting in days where things can't get done cause that employee isn't there(Pressure to not take vacation time due to this). Lack of communication between...

I have been working at Forrester Construction Company full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The interview process from start to finish was clear and concise. The recruiter was fully transparent about the entire process and stuck to the time frames that they communicated to me on the phone. This is the kind of company that really cares about their people and more importantly the community that they are apart of. It is very clear here that they have a mission to build great things but also to give back while...

    Advice to Management

Keep your doors open! The best part is how open everyone is at the management level. Really makes one feel apart of the team and that their voice matters.

I have been working at Forrester Construction Company full-time for less than a year

    Pros

challenging/complex/interesting projects, manageable company size, great community of employees, activities, work-life balance. I feel valued to the team and feel like there is a good system in place to help me grow my career.

    Cons

i would consider these all minor: gossip/word travels fast, growing pains of returning back to market prominence, there is more work than heads.

    Advice to Management

    stay the course.

I worked at Forrester Construction Company full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Pre-con group very good @ setting up a project. Still a number of talented people on staff.

    Cons

Accountability is a focus but in words only, which not all are held to. Nowhere near the company of 10 years ago. 401 k match weak. PX level challenged & ever changing. (turnover)

    Advice to Management

Get back to your roots, make it happen.
