I have been working at Foundation Financial Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I'm my own boss and the sky is the limit! We have A rated companies that we represent and absolutely top notch sales support and training from FFG.

    Cons

You need to be a self motivated person, because if your a Whiney thumb sucking blaming loser, you won't make it in Any sales position.... Not even this one. The support, guidance, family feel, conventions, training, bonified appointments... Etc. Are excellent; I've never in all my years, seen anything like it!

    Advice to Management

Management is very impressive; no advice needed or offered.

I worked at Foundation Financial Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There were so many people that came and went that it did allow for some networking later on. There was a handful of employees that were nice to work with and always made the day interesting and fun.

    Cons

Looooong hours, some Saturdays required, lead generation was poor - just basically cold calling. I don't believe the company is in business any longer so it's not like any of this matters.

I worked at Foundation Financial Group (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pay was good until the company consolidated and moved everyone to their head office in Jacksonville, Florida. I went from 15 an hour to 11 an hour with a college degree. They made up for it though by giving you more in commission on the loans that you closed.

    Cons

Management began to micro manage when the company downsized. They would literally stand over your desk and watch you like a hawk. Making sure you were doing your job, and whispering in your ear about how you can be better.

    Advice to Management

Not much to say the company no longer exist

I worked at Foundation Financial Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

FFG invest a great deal of time in training employees to efficiently perform cold calls. There are multiple sales trainings through out the day with the entire division as well as with your team. Through the Sales Management Trainee program, trainees are allowed to take state loan officer test at the company's expense.

    Cons

FFG churns through employees. During my 3 months of working there I became mentally cold to people getting fired or leaving the company. Each day you make over 500 calls to leads you have been working for weeks. Customers have never heard of FFG, the company's only means of marketing is through the calls we made each day. All in all do not waste your time with FFG, soon after I was fired the entire division was let go. This company will teach you how to communicate over the phone, but with their practices this company does not deserve quality workers.

    Advice to Management

    Value your people more.
