I have been working at Four Seasons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Definitely most competitive hospitality company within the region. The benefits are great and there is a great work environment.

    Cons

None really, there is a great culture and work environment.

    Advice to Management

Keep training your management on how to effectively be a part of the team they lead. Some current and past members of management seem to only do "just enough" until a possible promotion comes up.

I have been working at Four Seasons full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company provides great benefits to its employees and provides ample opportunity for those who want to to move up within their departments and within the company.

    Cons

Achieving work/life balance can be difficult when working in departments that do not follow a traditional work week and work hours (basically, anything outside of Human Resources or other office jobs). Holidays are non-existant and schedules change on a weekly basis.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Growth opportunity, opportunity to live and work abroad, guest and employee oriented, good benefits (like comp nights when employees travel to other FS properties, free meal/shift), diverse group of people to work with.

    Cons

Limited work/life balance, pay raise is very slow to meet cost of living, at times stressful work environment, benefits could be more competitive, staff meals could use some variety

    Advice to Management

Recognize talent before too late, employee performance review shouldn't wait until they're due, allow more open discussions with managers/executives (employees should not fear retaliation), facilitate more cross-departmental training.
