    Pros

Tips, co-workers, benefits. The company is very professional and they seek out the right people for the positions, many are referrals.

    Cons

You get over worked and the managers are inexperienced, recently fresh out of college with no idea how to manage people.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time

    Pros

Great opportunities, you learn a lot and get to meet people who are the best at what they do.

    Cons

It's really hard to get into certain areas of the company like Sales. They allow internal candidates to apply and it's hard to get an interview to start at the position you would like. Most likely have to get in at a different, more available position to be considered of for the other jobs.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be invested in employees at all levels.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time

    Pros

Great health insurance, friendly work environment, helpful attitude, continues training, great locations, ability to explore the world, discounts.

    Cons

Senior management trapped in the 90's, culinary union is a joke, high turnover, creativity is squashed by old trends and habits,

    Advice to Management

times are changing, the whole industry is changing, business travel is perhaps the only thing that keeps hotels open, take a good look than think than start over with a vision that can actually sustain you.

I have been working at Four Seasons full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They offer reasonable benefits. The health insurance policies are good, dental insurance is worthless. They also offer 'comp nights' at their hotels if you are lucky enough to get approved.

    Cons

Disrespectful Management starts at the top and gets worse. 'Comp nights" are impossible to get if you cannot get vacation time approved. Seemed like there were always excuses as to why this happens. LONG HOURS and less than market pay. Completely clueless HR departments who play favoritism. Hours of silly paperwork that literally benefit no one. Employee meals are often inedible.

    Advice to Management

Its a hotel company...not a cult. Recognize that your best employees are not the ones that resort to sucking up. Get it together.
