I have been working at Four Seasons full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Kind staff, health insurance, employee comp nights at any four seasons, free lunches, open-door policy all the way up to top management

    Cons

The things that bothered me the most were how short lunch breaks are (approx. 30 minutes - including how long it takes to get there and back), and the inconsistency of schedules

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to employee concerns, and pay credit where it is due

I have been working at Four Seasons part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I work in the spa and they treat us amazing! They are fair with balancing appointment, charging guests who don't show up and always uplifting.

    Cons

Our pants are white so you can see right through them and there's a shuttle that takes us to the resort so we have to be there an hour before our shifts. Other than that I can't really complain much.

Great Benefits. I also saw the availability to move up within the company if that was desired.

    Cons

Work/Life Balance was hard to come by. Long hours, changing schedules and difficult guests.

    Advice to Management

Suggest a set-schedule to your employees, because most of them would appreciate that.

I have been working at Four Seasons (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits; PTO, comp rooms, medical, dental and vision. On the job training in a beautiful mountain setting and great support from most management. This is a company that if they see potential is able to put you on the right path to get where you want to go.

    Cons

It is the hospitality industry you have to ready for anything.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, many employees strive to work for this company for a reason.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great pay compensation, uniforms cleaned for us, free lunch and snacks available all day in the cafeteria. Management team involved with the staff, do their best to make sure you're thriving at your job and are happy. The Resort managers are very approachable. Free parking

    Cons

The commute can be long because living in Scottsdale is expensive. to me, It appeared the office staff (accounting, sales, IT, etc) aren't very friendly or approachable. They rarely interact with the worker bees in the back of the house. So it can be kind of a cligue-ish environment. I've seen some favoritism within the department as well.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most competitive salary and incredible properties. Everyone is well trained and they are the most established brand in the industry.

    Cons

Ultra competitive work environment. Promotions are extremely difficult. Remember that you are competing against all of the best in the industry.

    Advice to Management

Do not be afraid to leave the company for personal growth.

I worked at Four Seasons full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits, people, and job itself seem amazing at first. You're told they promote from within and that they care about you and your career.

    Cons

All that good stuff unravels pretty quickly and you're left working 7...8...9 days in a row without a day off, at all hours of the day and night.

    Advice to Management

Put your money where your mouth is - promote from within and assist employees who want to develop their careers. Isn't it worth it to groom someone to be a lifelong, loyal, career employee?
