I have been working at Four Winds Casino full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nice employee perks, promotes from within, good management, generous point system

    Cons

Smoke, smoke and more smoke! 24 hour Casino means not such great shifts.

    Advice to Management

Research how NON-SMOKING does. NOT hurt businesses like one thinks. It is horrible for the employees. There are many Smoke related illnesses that the employees now have after years of exposure.

I have been working at Four Winds Casino full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The benefits are outstanding and they feed all the employees (even though the food is sub par). Opportunity for quick advancement into supervisory position.

    Cons

The hours are horrendous. Expect to work all holidays and weekends. There are no benefits to working night shift even though there are more responsibilities than day shift. If you are not a member of the tribe don't expect to get any promotions or consideration for any further advancement than an hourly supervisor.

    Advice to Management

Truly consider non-tribal employees for management. We have the experience and knowledge that is necessary to help keep the bottom line healthy.
