I have been working at Four Winds Casino part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have been here 3 years and the company itself is wonderful to work for. You get lots of bonuses employee appreciation Day and gifts every quarter. We pride ourselves on wonderful guest service and we are trained on property to do just that!

    Cons

The downside for me right now is that I constantly work weekends. I'm getting burnt out with the casino business itself not my company.

    Advice to Management

Part time should be treated equally to full time if you've put in the years to do so... The October to October full time status update really makes things difficult for people in a department that rely on being full time to bid... It's not fair.

I have been working at Four Winds Casino (Less than a year)

    Pros

Awesome incentive programs - quarterly bonuses, quarterly employee appreciation days with cash give aways and gifts, yearly bonuses, yearly raises. I feel the benefits are very good, a lot of people have a lot more expensive insurance with a lot less coverage.

    Cons

24/7, 365 job. You will work every weekend and holiday unless you use PTO, and even then it's not guaranteed. Tribally owned, so a lot of times more qualified candidates get passed over for promotions.

    Pros

Great benefits, that include health, dental, and vision. Hours are reasonable

    Cons

Open discrimination, legal because of it being on sovereign land, if you are not Pokagon you more than likely will not advance.

    Advice to Management

the amount of management is unreal
