I have been working at Four Winds Casino full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits. The 401k match, bonuses every quarter, and appreciation days really make this place great, if the higher than average salaries do not do it already.

    Cons

Sometimes you run across a supervisor that is hard to get along with or that treats others as though they are below them. The power trips can be real, but there is enough movement, both horizontal and vertical, that it usually does not last long until they move on somewhere else.

    Pros

    Free lunch
    Great bonuses
A gift and cash drawings every three months
    Great insurance and 401k
    Secret shopper bonus
    Great bosses

    Cons

There isn't a chance at all of getting a promotion. You could have a masters degree and years of experienced and the promotion will go to someone tribal even if they have no experience. During training they will tell you tribal will get preference if it's a tie, not true.

    Advice to Management

Nothing the management follows the rules to the letter. They are fair by treating everyone equally

    Pros

I have never worked for a company that truly cared about their employees like the Four Winds does.

    Cons

You will gain weight when you first start. It’s called the Four Winds forty! You will eat better than you have in your whole life, but you will have to jog it off !

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, the employees love you guys and I can’t wait to see South Bend come into action!

I have been working at Four Winds Casino full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nice employee perks, promotes from within, good management, generous point system

    Cons

Smoke, smoke and more smoke! 24 hour Casino means not such great shifts.

    Advice to Management

Research how NON-SMOKING does. NOT hurt businesses like one thinks. It is horrible for the employees. There are many Smoke related illnesses that the employees now have after years of exposure.
