I worked at Fourmidable Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits and decent pay for the maintenance. Not so good for the office staff.

    Cons

Did not pay their vendors and hired new ones when they were cut off. They were spotty about collecting rent and undermined me when I did when what they told me. They then forced my maintenance tech to perform my duties and fired me on trumped up charges. This is when I refused to hire more vendors when they wouldn't pay them for their work performed. The president had to turn over the keys to the property to the new management company after their dealings were known to the owners. They cannot keep properties for very long and this must be due to the management practices that still must exist.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time mentoring and educating employees rather than casting them out on a whim. Calling someone "subpar" when you are undermining them (not paying bills so pipes freeze and burst in vacant townhomes or the vendors and suppliers) and assigning them crushing schedules on top of that. Your company has lost many capable and knowledgeable people who could have made you money and retained tenants, and property owners.

    Pros

Great managment and team building. Company allows their employees the opportunity to work hard and advance within the ranks of the company.

    Cons

Company only allows raises once a year and even then its limited to 2 percent of their current salary.

    Advice to Management

Better wage and or compensation package for rank and file workers.

I worked at Fourmidable Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Professionals in their field with good benefit package, fair salary and team spirit.

    Cons

Actually there was nothing negative other than one supervisor that must have been going through a life crisis at the time. Made it bad for all.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to review from the top down and that is where you will find any problems.

    Pros

    Growth potential and qualified managent

    Cons

Since starting with Fourmidable and learning the ins and outs of tax-credit management, there are no downsides I can list for working with this company.

    Advice to Management

The level of communication with onsite and regional staff is excellent in my experience, and I believe this to be essential for our continued success.
