I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Being an office coordinator at foxtons is a good 'first step' job, it will enable you to get some office experience, and other companies will respect that you worked for Foxtons in interviews.

    Cons

No work/life balance. They are perfectly happy to screw you over, and a situation has to be at its worse before management will step in.

    Advice to Management

Just because someone earns an office money, it does not mean they have be aggressive and abusive to other employees - it should have been dealt with straight away, properly.

    Pros

    - The other OC's really do make you feel welcome even though you don't work with them - Great Christmas Parties

    Cons

-Office Co Ordinators are massively underappreciated not able to join in on any incentives - Roaming Office Coordinators can be very belittling and one of the competitions include having the tidiest office and specs of dust which are out of your control mean you are marked down which is ridiculous. - Monday morning early starts to do figures but not compensated for the earlier time - Having to type up Friday figures...

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the administrative staff as they are just as important as the negotiators.

I have been working at Foxtons

    Pros

I really enjoyed my role at Foxtons, I think the basic okay for my role (19K) was a bit low for some office coordinators who were in bigger offices, as they had a lot more work today. But considering it was my first role it was ok. It has really opened up doors to other opportunities as it is a big company, and I was in a big office. My role helped me to learn lots of different admin, PA, customer service and organisational...

    Cons

Cos are a bit under-appreciated in the bigger offices, we do not just sit at the desk, look pretty and welcome clients. We actually do a lot of work which goes unseen by the rest of the office. We also sit alone from everyone else so it can get quite lonely. Left because of the pay freeze meaning I would get no pay rise after a year or for when I get promoted. Also because I had no targets to work towards therefor no...

I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

The training program is amazing, there is great scope to advance your career and a clear career path, the people you work with are brilliant!

    Cons

It is a very suffocating environment, everyone is worked really hard so are usually constantly highly stressed, the salary for an office co ordinator is quite low compared to others in the industry

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff more. When people leave don't make it so impossible for them to come back.
