    I worked at Foxtons full-time

    Pros

The training is good but they know how to drain you with work and pay you the worst salary you would ever imagine.

    Cons

Long hours, they don't care if you have a break or not, many times I had no lunch in 12 hours work! Salary is very bad compared to how much they make you work and you work every other weekend so you have 6 days off a month! You get a car but if you scratch it they always make you pay around £600 to fix it! Most of the positive reviews they force you to write them while you working there for an incentive! (I was forced...

I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

      none that I can remember

      Cons

      - every other week 60 hours + (when working a Saturday shift) - lots of pressure from seniors, which is really unhealthy and thus provides for an uncomfortable environment - your yearly income plus the amount of hours you’ve worked is basically minimum wage - worst work life balance!!!!! - the worst job I’ve ever had.

        I worked at Foxtons full-time

        Pros

Company Incentives: Car, Phone and Laptop When you decide to hand in your notice: they just dismiss you on the day instead of working the week or however long they decide because in a directors exacts words ‘you won’t get me anything out of the notice anyway, so you should just leave.’ The training was very good, although it was very intense for one week, a lot to take in.

        Cons

Here is an honest review. The first time I joined a Foxtons, it felt like a great and super exciting company to work for In terms of commission structure and company culture. As im an enthusiastic, positive person with high energy. This was probably one of the worst company’s to have joined. You could sense the bad energy and very nosey people around you. Got to front office, shadowed for a week and was learning all...

        Advice to Management

Treat your staff better, and allow your staff to have a voice. There is a lot of favouritism and no room for real recognition of progress. Just because you have a senior position, does not allow you to be intimidating to your staff. That is not leadership.

I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than 6 years

        Pros

Great training, a good place to get experience in real estate and then move on.

        Cons

Long days, no extra holiday days considering essentially you work an additional 26 days a year for free if you work more surely you could give a bit more? It was probably the place to work as sales negotiator and make money when it was under John Hunt’s management, since going public I don’t think they have kept up with the times and struggle to see how they justify their fees with other competitors fast catching up....

        Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people not like numbers and incentivise sales people you’d be amazed what you get back.

        I worked at Foxtons full-time

        Pros

        The training is very good

        Cons

Long hours and weekends, no progression. Lazy management, everyone is demotivated so warning to negotiators do not expect to make money!!! Leads are given to their favourite/mates. Plus they will harass you with court letters to pay for the company car, (which, btw, was checked and handed back in perfect condition!)
