I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Great training, a good place to get experience in real estate and then move on.

    Cons

Long days, no extra holiday days considering essentially you work an additional 26 days a year for free if you work more surely you could give a bit more? It was probably the place to work as sales negotiator and make money when it was under John Hunt’s management, since going public I don’t think they have kept up with the times and struggle to see how they justify their fees with other competitors fast catching up....

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like people not like numbers and incentivise sales people you’d be amazed what you get back.

I have been working at Foxtons full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Not having a degree or higher education qualification and coming from the construction industry as a builder I was worried coming into a job like this that I may be out of my depth but I have to say the training provided was next to none. Before you start in your respective office you get sent to the Foxtons head office & spend a week in the training department receiving some of the best training from the industry...

    Cons

Hours - Maybe they can be looked at but to be honest it’s just a matter of managing your time better and I've been able to transfer my newly learnt time management skills in work into real life situations and it’s massively helped me!

I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Corporate fashion and atmosphere, head office location

    Cons

The typical corporate BS and demeaning recruitment process

    Advice to Management

Please raise up the bar in your recruitment day and don't insult candidates by asking them to beg for jobs during the 'group meeting' because it is really out of touch. Some of your managers were rude and uninterested anyway. It was a compelete show off and stupid selection which was made according to who you know or you glued to.
