    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Foxtons full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Corporate fashion and atmosphere, head office location

    Cons

The typical corporate BS and demeaning recruitment process

    Advice to Management

Please raise up the bar in your recruitment day and don't insult candidates by asking them to beg for jobs during the 'group meeting' because it is really out of touch. Some of your managers were rude and uninterested anyway. It was a compelete show off and stupid selection which was made according to who you know or you glued to.

    Pros

    Cons

Weekend work is very exhausting when you don't have a day off in the week Basic Salary

    Advice to Management

Increase the basic salary - £10,000 is not enough. Also increase the basic salary for rare negotiators and senior negotiators to make it more of a promotion.

I have been working at Foxtons full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Foxtons are a great company to work for if you are ambitious and keen to work very hard in return for good rewards (cars, trips, nights out, good salary). The work ethic you develop is phenomenal and the sheer volume of transactions you deal with per year, alongside excellent training as you start out (though this decreases significantly once you hit rare sales) mean you are quickly and thoroughly equipped as a competent...

    Cons

-training stops when you hit rare although there is still so much to learn. Because of the high turnover of staff even at managerial level the expertise isn't there to facilitate continued professional development of people who are good -Many staff move on because for most people the hours (70ish a week) are unsustainable without sacrificing your health and social/family life -Foxtons micro manage everyone -taking...

    Advice to Management

Invest in people as humans rather than seeing people as cash cows that can be pushed to the limit then replaced when they burn out.
