I have been working at Fractal Analytics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The flexibility of the organization is refreshing as many companies are not and the genuine caring of the staff and employer of their employees. This is a young company so they are eager and hungry to learn, be productive that results in being successful.

    Cons

Because of my role and having to deal with many who are in India it sometimes makes it a challenge to get this done as quickly as you like.

    Advice to Management

Needs consistency across the board in respects to administration and the need to be more communicative in order to get things done in a timely fashion. Although there is a time difference, but if your able to get all your question/request answered with less back and forth would be helpful

    Pros

    - Mostly native Indian consultants and managers, so no racism like in US white dominated firms
    - Good base in Mumbai
    - A few good people on a personal level.
    - Can speak Hindi on the job with no issues

    Cons

    - Salary is below par
-The turnover is very high because middle managers mistreat staff
-The data scientists and analytics consultant do not know fundamental data science
    - They use spreadsheet learnings from business school and don't know how to code
    - Human Resources is very dishonest
    - The teams cannot explain any of the statistics behind the models
    - The company has no real talent so it is switching to software products that won't sell in US market. They have no talent to compete.

    Advice to Management

Changes to middle management are needed
