    Pros

NFI is a great place to start your career. Only thing is , is that I ended up in the office that they did not care too much about. Cool incentives Cool outings meet cool people

    Cons

Sell fresh out of college students a dream they can make money when in reality you get there and you have no jobs to work on. Then are expected after alittle training to get your own business. Little do you know that you are on a saturated market where noone likes Nigel Frank with a technology that is over saturated and too old to gain alot of new traction. On top of that management...

Next time you shut down an office give a notice and some more severance living isn’t cheap. And if you want people to stay offer them money to relocate and treat them better when they are working for you. “Clients do not come first Employees come first. Pros

You will get the training and support to learn how to sell solutions to a growing technology market. Then, Nigel Frank gives you the autonomy to build your own business and have a lucrative profession. Awesome culture and a very fun work place environment.

    Cons

It can be long hours and frustrating as is any sales job but you get out what you put in.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

If you just moved to NYC (or don't have any friends), you'll make some great ones here. Everyone has the same college-drinking mentality. Since you'll be spending the majority of your time in the office, you'll end up going out on Thursdays/Fridays/Saturdays with your work friends. Welcome to the frat.

    Cons

Where do I begin? First off, all the positive reviews are from management and internal recruiters. They're just now finding out that Glassdoor really does effect business and people's opinions. Maybe do something about it instead of asking everyone to write positive reviews? - The hours. It's frowned upon to arrive after 8:30am and to leave before 7:30pm. Your contract may say 5:30pm is your dismissal, but that’s...

    Advice to Management

I get it, the company was acquired by TPG and when that happened, a lot of unrealistic expectations were sold to them. It’s sales and you sold the dream. It’s now back-firing because consultants don't really make 1-4 deals a month. My advice is to go back in time and be honest. Or, treat your employees better so they care a little more about making (you) money and don't jump ship as soon as they get an offer elsewhere....

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I've been working for Nigel Frank for three years, starting as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and working up to a Manager position. I would have never been able to get that kind of progression or earn the kind of money I have if I would have gone for a grad scheme. NFI gave me the opportunity of moving out to Dallas from the UK. Although the office is smaller at the moment, we are growing quickly and everyone in...

    Cons

    - Some people may not like working till 6.30pm - Old CRM system. - Holiday incentives are absolutely amazing but would prefer less fancy incentives with more spaces. - As a new office, the first 6 months are really hard for Trainee's but just as rewarding as other offices.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing and changing in the positive way that you are at the moment. I'm enjoying being part of a company and office that cares about the employee's thoughts and feelings. Make sure that all management are moving with the changes, like they are in Dallas. Consider looking at incentives that are different for US and UK employees, so more people can get onto them. As we grow, the incentives we currently have...

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have only been part of the business in New York for about a year now; since joining there has been a great amount of positive change throughout the business. Some of the things that have changed is that the management have become more interactive, the training, known as FRG University have implemented more structure in order for people to come onto the 'real sales floor' well prepared for the majority of scenarios,...

Of course there are going to be a few, however these were highlighted in my interview. The hours are long, although you aren't pressured to be here for the sake of it. It seems the more time you put in, the easier it is to get up to speed quicker, I got promoted to Senior within 9 months being in the business.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, it seems a lot of training has been implemented for the Management of recent, so ensure you put the theory into practice and share that knowledge!

When I started at Nigel Frank four months ago, all I wanted was for my work environment to be anything but a cubicle surrounded by old grumpy people. Luckily, I found the right place. The hours can be exhaustive, as every sales job requires high densities of pressure; filled with deadlines, requirements, and pledges, however the hours do create a really strict routine that becomes second nature. I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I started working at Nigel Frank a little over a year ago and can honestly say it's been an interesting journey. I never saw myself doing sales out of college, but can truthfully say I'm glad I did. One of the things that stood out to me are the people. Everyone you work with all possess fun yet ambitious personalities, which really make the hours doable. The 12 hour days are not ideal for many, however the money you...

Since it's sales, you have to understand that there's going to be slower months. One of the more frustrating things about this job is that you never know when everything can fall apart, but that's just the nature of the job. At the end of the day, I think the work/life balance can be better. At times, there's just too many things going on that you simply won't have enough time to accomplish everything. It's important...

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I was brought on at Nigel Frank nearly 2 years ago after feeling undervalued in my previous role. After being #1 in my district in sales, yet getting denied a promotion due to longevity, I wanted to look for a position with a company that would reward my hard work and success with 1) career progression & 2) money- and that is exactly what I found. In less than 2 years I have been promoted 3 times and have nearly tripled...

With every job comes the grunt work. It is rare that people come into a completely new role in an industry they are not familiar with and immediately experience a ton of success. To get there takes a lot of effort and hours. Not every day is the most glamorous and exciting day. Yes it can be exhausting at times, but when you compare the pros vs the cons, it's hard not to be pleased.

Like most other reviews, the number one concern that most employees voice is hours. The hours can be long, like most other sales positions.
