I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group

    Pros

Decent pay for those who excel, mostly friendly environment

    Cons

Very cult like culture, people who work there only interact with each other. Everyone seems overly enthusiastic and just keep talking about how good Nigel Frank is. Drug use is widespread. It's common for people to get hired and fired within a month.

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group for more than a year

    Pros

I've been at Nigel Frank for under two years. I've been promoted twice and am currently working towards my third promotion target. The culture is amazing and you can be as involved as you want to be. I've met the best people at NFI and it's made living in NYC so fun (and affordable).

    Cons

It's hard work and it can get super stressful. But I guess I knew that's what I was signing up for when I got into this industry...

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on training; it's been a big help to me since it's been revamped.

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I have been working here for three months now and it has been a great opportunity thus far. The office environment is always energetic and motivating. Everyone here wants each other to do well and constantly acknowledges you when you have successes. The people who work here are the definition of "work hard, play hard." At Nigel Frank we are here for the same reason, we are all motivated to make money and with hard work...

    Cons

The hours are longer than a typical 9-5 job. The reason for this is because you probably have a greater chance to make more money if you stay later especially if your territory is in the west coast. The base salary is low but this just makes the employees want to work harder to make commission. I would personally like to work like crazy and feel like I actually worked for my successes rather them be handed to me. The...

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

NFI is a really fun, fast-paced environment. Unlike other jobs that I have had, Nigel Frank has an open floor office and is a highly competitive environment. I've been working here for almost a year and I absolutely love it. There are plenty of opportunities to succeed - all you have to do it be willing to put in the hard work and have faith in the management.

    Cons

This is not your average 9-5 job. In order to really succeed you need to be willing 10+ hour days everyday. Sometimes I get in at 8:00 and will not leave until 10. This is also, first and foremost, a job that absolutely requires being on the phone. If you are not comfortable picking up the phone and speaking with people all day, every day, this is not the job for you.

    Advice to Management

I know that the company is rapidly growing, but I would like to see a little bit more transparency. There is a lot going on within the company, but the majority of the company doesn't see the changes until they are enacted.

I have been working at Frank Recruitment Group

    Pros

The thing I enjoy most about working here is that you are in control of your career path and honestly I don't think you can say that in many environments. Of course it comes down to how much you want to put in to be successful, nothing is given to you. You also have the opportunity to earn great money I've had 2 previous jobs in Sales where I was told I could make six-figures but no one ever did, my first 12 months with...

I worked at Frank Recruitment Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

First of all, I consider having ANY job to be a "pro." There are a lot of people who would kill for a job. The pros of working at Nigel Frank are monthly alcoholic binge fests, decent sales training, and a lot of performance based incentives ie. expenses paid business trips. If you are a millennial, you are working with people your age who understand how much the job can suck. The "growth potential" is also a plus....

    Cons

Some of your "managers" are your peers who have never had any sort of real management training. This leads the constructive criticism to sound condescending, disrespectful, rude, etc. The attainability of "career progression" is all tied to how much time you can afford to spend at work. There is no overtime at Nigel Frank. In essence, you receive your overtime pay when you receive your hard earned commission. You are...

    Advice to Management

Employees are more likely to stay with the company when they feel appreciated. If team leaders and managers are talking to you like you're an idiot while coaching you, it creates a bit of a hostile work environment. Granted, no two leaders are ever the same, but the inconsistencies with how each team operates can make someone feel like they're being singled out.

    Pros

I sit here and read all the most recent reviews and I cannot just sit back and listen to lies that do not represent this company at all. I have been employed by this company for a year and 3 months now and there has been nothing, but great experiences here. Before you are hired here you are told what to expect. Cons

It is a very fast pace culture. If you just want a job that has benefits and are comfortable with a 35k base salary do not waste anyone's time. You need to have the desire to make over 100k in your first year and be willing to do whatever it takes to get there. You need to expect 3 months before getting all the benefits I have addressed in the pros. It happens quick after that, but do not expect the possibility of...

    Pros

-Teaches you how to find a new job that is not with them. -Nice co-workers for the most part (does not include management)

    Cons

-Controlling! Runs just like a sweatshop factory. No one can take lunch at any other time except 1pm and someone has to be by the phones at all times during lunch so one person does not get an actual lunch break which is illegal. No one is allowed to check their cell phone during work hours, even if it is a call or text from a family member so every employee hides in the emergency stairwell or bathroom stalls to check...

    Advice to Management

Stop saying this job is amazing when you know it is a terrible cold calling job. Just call a spade a spade and make the best of it by loosening up on the micromanagement and being human. By suffocating employee’s freedom all the best ones will leave to work at a place they are valued and allowed to eat when they want and take a phone call from their family members.

    Pros

I have been with Nigel Frank in NYC for just over 2.5 years and I have seen the business grow from a 15 person company when I joined to now over 75+ employees. Nigel Frank International will waste your time and you will not get paid for it. They say you will make $60000 - $80000 your first year. Don't believe this lie.
