I worked at Frankie & Benny's for more than a year

    Pros

Made some friends with fellow levelled staff

    Cons

They tell you that you have contracted hours but will send you home if it’s not busy so I never worked my full contracted hours. One week I only worked 20 mins! Work is hard and constant, you have to be smiley to customers while getting shouted at by management when you go out the back. Breaks are rare and if you complain about not having a break during an 8 hour shift you are seen as weak. Overheard area managers...

    I worked at Frankie & Benny's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great team, good training, fun atmosphere, easy targets, easy bonus, always a laugh to work there. Easy cocktails to make.

    Cons

The management teams always suck, always giving you a hard time. We'll deserved pay rises took ages to actually happen.

    Advice to Management

    Area management needs to change

I worked at Frankie & Benny's for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible working hours; tips and meals on the job.

    Cons

Beware of Mismanagement of documents or the possibility of losing your documents when signing the contract, as this may result in late payment or no payment at all for months after your first wages were due.

    Advice to Management

In my case, the management claimed not to have any guilt in the fact that a month after I quit the job I am still not paid the salary for 3 almost full-time weeks. However, this has happened to 4 other employees at the same time and clearly, there is a desperate need of more communication between the management who has to stand behind their employees, and the company that takes care of the payments.

I have been working at Frankie & Benny's

    Pros

No pros, but "need 5 words"!

    Cons

Stress, bad management (can't speak to staff, let alone be authoritative) who penalises passive aggressively via rota (or lack of in this weeks case).

    Advice to Management

Upper management need to hire real GMs and allow them to work realistically.
