I have been working at Franklin Covey full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Franklin Covey is an excellent model of organizational greatness. Passionate people and very professional work environment.

    Cons

A lot of travel and hours on the road. If you don’t like planes ... probably not the job for you.

    Advice to Management

    Realistic expectations.

I worked at Franklin Covey full-time

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Every week you're able to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.

    Cons

Lack of diversity. The majority of employees are white and/or LDS. The company seems outdated. They need to put more focus on building an innovative, fun culture/environment for their employees. Once you're in a position, it seems difficult to move around the company. Not a deal breaker, but they also have no tuition reimbursement options for employees. Their insurance coverage is one of the worst I've had. You're...

I have been working at Franklin Covey full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Nice campus. Cafeteria onsite. Decent benefits. Growing company. Entrepreneur mindset.

    Cons

Lack of leadership. Not diverse. If you're young and looking for a hip place to work this isn't it, you're going to be surrounded by older people who don't socialize.

I worked at Franklin Covey full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

There are a few good people.

    Cons

No integrity, everyone in leadership looks exactly the same and if you’re not in “the club (church)” you won’t be respected. Arrogance abounds without expertise to back it up. No culture at all. Closed down all regional offices a few years ago and it has caused lack of communication and broken all “synergy” that they profess to teach. They don’t follow their principal based teaching which makes sense because employees...

    Advice to Management

At this point they should sell the company and just get rid of all the leaders who are there for no other reason than they were in sales or they went to BYU. You don’t have the people with business sense to succeed. None of them are Steven Covey and he’s probably ashamed of what is going on. If clients only knew how broken this company is they’d run.

I have been working at Franklin Covey full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

FranklinCovey has a company mission to enable greatness in people and organizations everywhere. The company is built on the success of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, which is as good a foundation as any. You don't have to perform mental gymnastics to feel good about working for FranklinCovey or to believe that their products are positive and add value to the world. The company pays well. Cons

      Advice to Management

Focus as much as possible on removing pain points for employees, or impediments to getting their job done. Issues seem to linger for a long time when implementing new systems or making updates to existing ones.
