Pros
NHSC-approved site with acceptable HPSA score for scholars/loan repayment. 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. No weekends, no "on-call." Great benefits. Good supervisor. Sole dentist at this site. Team of 2 receptionists, 2 assistants, 1 hygienist. Good mission statement, and meeting real needs in the community.
Cons
Limited procedures (only offer extractions, fillings, exams, cleanings, etc.). No crown and bridge, implants, dentures, etc. For prospective providers: Large company with a lot of bureaucracy/complicated administrative hierarchy. Difficult people with whom to interact. (However, CEO and direct supervisor are superb). Upper management does seem disconnected from employees and their needs. Many staff do not feel appreciated despite working extremely hard. There can be the sensation you're in some kind of exhausting competition and can never win nor can you make everyone (sometimes no one) happy. Support staff is undervalued and under-appreciated. HR and upper management should put more thought into raises/encouragement for support staff (not just providers). There is an excessive amount of drama in the company, in general. Communication is VERY poor. Often, information comes through the grapevine, very last minute,or not at all. There have been some near-promises made to support staff regarding possible pay increases that were not followed through on, resulting in disgruntled employees and a worsened work atmosphere. Employees do not always feel valued. Difficult environment in which to encourage team work and spirit among staff. Minimal say regarding staff of your own clinic, & management of staff is consequently a challenge. Location -- long drive from a city.

Pros
Love this company. Been here for a while now and I have learned so much. Love my boss and previous bosses. Love what I do. A good place to start a career or retire from if you have a few years left to work.
Cons
Not enough raises or not paid what your worth. To much drama between coworkers. To many females.

Pros
Some flexibility for some but not for all
Cons
Very cliquish, no room for advancement unless you don't have a degree, no raises, poor upper management skills and knowledge-based, if you are not in with upper management click them you will be out, CEO has no clue nor appreciates the ones that do the most work, needs to be more involved with management decisions and not just the numbers, need to get rid of all upper management and get those who are qualified and not just butt kissers to CEO. Worst run place I've seen in a long time. No communication at all between upper management and staff until last minute or through the geapevine. Lots of abandoned promises given by CEO to encourage higher number seem but never follow through on promisesandalways has an excuse not to give a raise, bonus, etc. No continuity of care!

Pros
No communication. Not being part of a team. Lost in the technology and millennial time zone.
Cons
8-5, no weekends. Healthcare environment.
- Former Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
The company helped insured and low income people with no insurance. They offered all services from pediatric care to adult care.
Cons
Waiting time to be seen is too long most of the time therefore the company will loose some of their insured patience.
