I worked at Fraser Ambulance part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Decent pay for an EMT
Lots of free time during the day
There really are not any more pros to working for this company

    Cons

Like all EMS, no real career opportunities beyond front or back seat
    Management was terrible
Equipment was terrible, easily the worst of any company I've ever worked for

    Advice to Management

Try to retain employees instead of firing everybody. When you get talent, hold on to it. Remember that you're dealing with grown adults with professional licenses, not a bunch of teenagers.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Able to work a 40 hour week in a few days.

    Cons

Lack of leadership within the company. Lack of employee relations. Equipment is wore out and always breaking down. Money is the most important part to management. Employees and patients are last.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees fairly. Annual reviews and raises should be given. Replace equipment on a rotational basis. Offer incentives. Offer retirement.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Decent equipment, false attempt to be streamline.

    Cons

takes years to receive annual pay increases, plays favorites among employees, out in community all day with no place to stretch or walk around. If you go outside a 2 block radius you will be reprimanded by management. Supervisors try to write up employees outside their chain of command. finally the employee handbooks is only used for the benefit of management. there is no ladder to climb to move up within the company.

    Advice to Management

Your best people are leaving for a reason. take off the blindfold!!

    Pros

People are amazing to work with

    Cons

Worthless former owner would back stab you for a snickers bar. Thinks he runs a qaulity business but is all about the money. WOULD NEVER want to work for or be around again

    Advice to Management

    Run run run
