      Pros

Great health benefits and substantial sick/personal time off. Diverse culture and active commitment to inclusion. Remote work and flex hours available which help improve work/life balance. Core mission is admirable despite lack of implementation.

      Cons

Still a relatively new company that has taken on too much too quickly and has serious procedure issues that management refuses to fix. Now that they are both a research and healthcare institution, these foundational process flaws have become much more apparent and directly affect patient care. When these issues are brought up, they are ignored and employees are punished if they notice them. They put money into unnecessary luxuries like a self-parking car garage and valet which is rarely used instead of actual patient care. This also means standard pay is very low and raises, bonuses, or promotions do not exist. There are also no formal performance reviews or efforts to provide positive feedback. Employee exhaustion is common and entire groups (i.e. the poorly managed breast team) have quit at one time due to burn out. It can be very difficult to work at an institution that is growing so quickly and yet refuses to change at all despite consistent concern and discontent from their employees. Instead of wanting to improve their systems or seek feedback from their employees, they choose to burn through as many people as possible because this is simply easier than addressing all of their foundational issues. I do not know many people who have lasted.

        Pros

Good for work life balance Good for people who are close to retirement Good benefits

        Cons

No women equality. The glass ceiling definitely exists which is why I have seen women employees leaving. Even after promotion, there is no clarity when the salary raise will happen. Very ambiguous process I would say. Additionally, if the salary raise happens, it is lesser in comparison with the male counterparts. As a woman, I am saying this after thorough research. This has lead to lower morale and motivation even if the mission is for a good cause, I would still want to go to a place where my work is valued.

      Johnson & Johnson

At the end of the interview, the interviewer said “HR will be in contact with you very soon”. Does this mean I got the job since it’s HR and not the recruiter or am I overthinking this? Any tips to ease post late stage interview anxieties?

      Process Coordinator

I have an in-person interview for a job I applied for earlier this summer and was in the final 2. They went with an internal candidate that time. I had 3 interviews the first time, but none in-person. This is the first interview this time. Is that a really good sign? Or should I not read into it? Also, I haven't had a professional in-person interview for 7 years, what do I wear? (female, 40's)

I'm currently interviewing for manager and senior manager positions within people operations, what are some questions you like to ask during interviews with directors and VPs?
