I have been working at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great resources if you are in a position to use them. Some really fantastic research going on.

    Cons

Labs are dependent on grant funding - if they go down (or if you aren't bringing in your own), you go down. Support seems lab-dependent, and things can get isolating if you aren't outgoing.

    Advice to Management

Be more willing to support junior people (actually in practice, don't just say you do externally).
