I have been working at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It wasn't hard work. It's easy once you get the hang of it.

    Cons

I had left for about 2 years when I went back they failed to tell me that I had to pay 500 penalty for not doing continuing education to renew my license instead they made me take training classes again even tho I already knew most of the stuff and made me take the test and fingerprinting that I had to pay for just so they could tell me that I have to pay a penalty. Waste of my money and time

I worked at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get paid weekly, you only need a limited lines license to sell policies. Which is pay for, as well as your background check!

    Cons

It's hard to use sick days or vacation days. They need to be approved by your manager. No room for advancement, compensation is low. Can't get paid overtime or you will be written up.

    Advice to Management

Don't fire your coworkers after they put in their two weeks.

I have been working at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

You have a job in El Paso.

    Cons

Lets begin. Five years I've put up with staying past the time i was expected, bonuses taken away if your 5mns late, management doesnt even let you go to the restrooms. They over work every employee and their motto is "ur salary, if u dont like it quit". Only reason i stayed was for a Five year bonus I was suppose to get in march. Two weeks ago we got an email saying they are taking away this "Discretionary" Bonus. Thanks for taking advantage of the hard dedicated workers you have Fred Loya. You know we all need the job, so you take advantage of your own people running your business.

I worked at Fred Loya Insurance Agency, Inc. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Very little experience necessary in all departments.

    Cons

Understaffed, over worked pay based on nepotism and likability NOT experience. Too much micromanagement not enough training, company not as forgiving to the non-Hispanic employees. Work passed down to lower staff without the knowledge to complete it.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better, a better work environment will increase the quality of work, this is not Nazi Germany and you will not keep qualified employees treating them like dirt!
