    Pros

The culture envisioned by corporate is great.....But the franchises take over and twist to their business model.Gm's are micro-managed to the extreme by DM and fired without cause. The franchise I worked for went throught managers like socks without regard to their well being and past performance...ALL Politics. If you work for Freddys do yourself a favor and go with a corporate store.

    Cons

Politics and High School drama from upper management and peers.Best advice have your resume up to date to protect your family after accepting position with this company.

    Advice to Management

    None,cant fix something that broken.

    Cons

Might have just been a bad gm but they never ever did evaluations till you were in trouble for some reason or other

    Advice to Management

Since your menu prices raise 2-3 times a year how about you do regular evaluations

I have been working at Freddy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They keep the restaurant clean and safe the for the employees and customers.
    Flexible with any schedule.
Friendly and simple communication with staff.

    Cons

    Not for slow-paced workers.
Multitasking is an important skill to have for this job.
Some staff cannot separate their personal life from their job.

    Advice to Management

I know being a manager comes with very stressful situations but managing a fast food restaurant is possible without being worried something is going to go wrong because something is always going to wrong in this field. As long as you stay paced, productive, and trust your employees that you trained yourself to do the job that they applied for then everything should run smooth and efficient. Talk to your staff and ask them where they're more comfortable in working and then transition that comfort to all positions in either hotline or cold line. This way they are comfortable with where they're working and are prepared for any situation like an employee quitting and leaving or customers not satisfied with the experience they payed for.

    I worked at Freddy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Quick advancement within the company. I started out as a cook and in less that 2 years left with supervisor experience and could've left with assistant manager experience if I had wanted too

    Cons

High turnover rate. Unless your a GM, you'll only be working mid and closing shifts and forced to work at other stores if they don't have enough managers there.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with your managers raises and don't keep them waiting 3+months after the reviews are suppossed to be done. They do all the stressful work for you.

    I worked at Freddy's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discounts on food and some of the staff was friendly

    Cons

You barely get hours and it's wayyy tooo much work for 8.25. Force you to take unpaid 30 minute breaks even if you're only working 4 hours. After taxes you have a $100 check every two weeks. Not best for anyone with responsibilities. Majority of staff is lazy but as long as you're the managers favorite you'll get hours. Manager is beyond rude and belittles staff. Worst treatment I've ever experienced. She also criticizes you personal not by your work ethic. She also talks about you to other employees. VERY CHILDISH. Keep your personal life at home. People dating within staff and sexual harassment is a big issue. It's just not a fun place to work. You feel more like a slave than an employee.

    Advice to Management

Work better with scheduling. Scheduling equal hours to employees is a must. Watch how you talk to staff because they are the first people the guest see and their attitude reflexes everything. You'd make more business that way. There are ways to enforce a rule besides calling people out of their name. Stop having favorites within staff because it's unfair to those who actually come to work and do something. As a Manager, you should be the most professional so work on that.

    I worked at Freddy's part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Position came with free food when working.

    Cons

A lot is expected of you at this store. They expect you to work as a regular employee most of the time, but expect you always to work three times as hard as anyone else. (I hear it's different at other locations, the main reason I did not like this store was because of the manager)

    Advice to Management

Don't gossip about the management team to regular employees.

    I worked at Freddy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place for work for people who are just starting out in the job market, or in high school. Great place to work if you are looking for a first job, or a seasonal position.

    Cons

Not very much opportunity to move up very quickly, very long hours especially as a manager. Opportunities for a raise in pay is very limited.

    Advice to Management

Personally I would love to see a student work program, or something to help students. Most of the employees are student either in high school or college. I would also work on a new salary system, employees are to be evaluated every year and perhaps given a pay raise, but this often does not happen.
