    I worked at Freddy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free management meals, lots of room for advancement for crew members, shift manager pay and employee pay rate is above industry average for the franchisee I worked for.

    Cons

Unable to manage the store due to being stuck in a position all day to control flow. To meet labor goals you must do this and it adds a lot of stress to managing.

Bonus structure was not very great. Lots of difficult goals to meet with little payout if they are met.

    High management turnover.

Lots of new stores are being opened but they are not investing enough time into training the new employees properly.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to spend a bit more time at the store level and consider thoughts from store general managers and assistant managers.

    Treat everyone with respect

    I worked at Freddy's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some management cares about its employees lives and tries to help when they can.

    Cons

Some management doesn't help out on the daily work and instead will sit back and boss when they could easily be helping.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time on line then on your phone in back

    I worked at Freddy's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

My GM was a cool guy to work for. Free meals for managers. 45 to 50 week. Salary was competitive. Free health insurance just for you. Let you wear shorts.

    Cons

Middle management is petty and two faced. They have favorite less experienced managers that get promotions over clearly qualified individuals. Some stores are poorly maintained with major water leaks and plumbing issues. The store i was in had a clogged floor drain for well over a year that was never fixed and continued to stink and fester despite being pointed out to middle management on several ocassions. They will day they care about you and call you family but all it takes is one bad guest complaining about a very minor incident on social media and then you’ll be gone without any sort of progressive discipline or action plan.

    Advice to Management

Don’t play favorites and don’t be greedy with expansion. Don’t saturate an area

I worked at Freddy's (More than a year)

    Pros

High volume makes shifts go quicker
Coworkers were fun to get to know and work with
    Pay was decent

    Cons

General manager of my store was money hungry. Promised a $0.50 raise after 6 months and $0.25 raise every 6 months after that.
If you have an issue with the GM or management, don't bother contacting corporate. They'll just tell the GM to deal with it or ignore it entirely.
If you're sick, you better have a doctors note or you get shifts taken away from you.

    Advice to Management

    Quit your job.
