I have been working at Freedom Wireless full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Laid back environment.
    Locations provide decent customer traffic.

    Cons

Wages are low. There is little recognition. There's really nowhere to go within the company.

    Pros

I enjoyed my coworkers. I got to learn a lot about phone.

    Cons

They have been acquired. They were trying to sell themselves, and I think they were doing just about anything they could to decrease costs and increase revenues. The title says the bulk of it. I hear their acquirers are more fair.

    Advice to Management

Do to others as you would have them do to you.

I worked at Freedom Wireless full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Always easy to get a scheduled day off with no problem. Well supported sales staff

    Cons

Point system means if I sell something, Verizon pays the company but the company isn't going to pay me unless I reach a certain number of points. Increased points for selling devices that were known to be troubled or aging. Selling devices for $20 more on an upgrade than corporate Verizon charges and there is no way to compete with Best Buy Mobile

    Advice to Management

People simply don't trust kiosks in malls anymore. Continue to build out inline stores. There really is a difference in perception.

    Pros

    I enjoyed learning the business.

    Cons

The hours are a little overwhelming. The stores are understaffed and you are constantly required to work extra hours. Leadership is almost non existent.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees, it will pay off to have committed team members.
