    I worked at Freightos full-time

    Pros

Ten bis (discounted lunch) Nice office - although very open-plan

    Cons

I had a really horrible experience during my very brief time at the company (was headhunted from my former job and left after a few months - stress was starting to have physical effects!). I worked under an abusive tyrant of a boss who took micromanagement to a level I never even knew was possible. The company makes extensive use of extremely cheap Palestinian and Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) workers - my job was to... essentially harass them by "syncing up" for status updates throughout the day. These people were clearly depressed at the abusive conditions they worked under and seeing these worn-out souls in person at the on-site training was distressing. Fun fact: the whole company has been built on the lie that they have invented some sophisticated high-tech system for generating freight quotes - in reality, they employ an army of sweatshop workers to make the "magic" happen. Take the Palestinians and Haredim out of the picture and the whole thing would fall apart at the seams. I pushed back on my boss fairly early on - he criticized me for not arriving before my shift and was even observing how I had my desk laid out from his seat (which was literally directly opposite me - talk about uncomfortable!). These criticisms were then laid out in exhaustive detail in emails that were often sent in the small hours of the morning - the guy didn't seem to sleep. Screw that! There's also a total startup Kool-Aid culture here. Don't expect any work life balance and those that are best at sucking up to their line managers seem to get ahead most quickly. I brought all these concerns to the attention of the CEO and CFO during my exit interview. Both are totally disinterested in the conditions of entry-level workers and their only concern was whether I was going to sue the company (if I had the means, and a lot of time, I might for constructive dismissal). Zvi Screiber has the social intelligence of a sack of potatoes and lacks the charisma and leadership to run any company. I was very lucky to fall into a great job shortly after leaving this place, but my only regret is that I didn't jump ship even sooner.

    Advice to Management

Stop pretending that most of your staff are remote Palestinian workers to "build peace" -- you're looking for the cheapest labor you can find. And maybe be transparent about that! Also, you should weed out the toxic characters that remain simply because they were part of the initial cohort. It's actually fascinating that you can continue with the huge raises despite being totally dysfunctional on the inside.

I have been working at Freightos full-time

    Pros

Decent benefits for Jerusalem and we just had an excellent company fun day!

    Cons

We recently held a company-wide, awkward meeting held to discuss low morale at the company. People were put on the spot and asked to say in front of everyone what it was that bothered them. It was odd. People quitting or fired left and right; not sure what kind of future I have here Many late nights

I have been working at Freightos full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very talented and dedicated people, I'm learning a lot from many of them.

    Cons

Most of the office is one big open space. It is a popular choice in many companies, and I for one like it, but some people might find it inconvenient. I added this only because I can't submit my rating with empty cons.

I have been working at Freightos full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Great group of people that create a fun atmosphere to work in - Clear company mission - If you perform well and show drive, Freightos rewards you with greater responsibility - Fully committed to allowing staff to pursue projects outside of day to-day responsibilities, in order to bring greater value to the company and increase employee skill sets - Allows for a flexible schedule

    Cons

    - Trying to tackle so many different inefficiencies in the market which makes it very hard.

    Advice to Management

You're eager to give employees the opportunity to take on independent projects and add value. Continue to empower the team and push that philosophy.

I worked at Freightos full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Company: - Cutting edge technologies for Software Development. - Not only freindly developers, they have managers with freindly and helpful mindset. - Flat communication. You can reach anyone, anytime with proper reason simply by slacking. Dhaka branch: - Highly cohesive team, in a friendly working environment. - Head R&D truely play the role of "serving of employees". - Apart from R&D there are... also Freight associate and Sales team which gives you easy access to catch up whole business progress over a cup of cofee. - You will know the challenges and milestones to reach the next level, its upto you if you can achieve them or not. - If you've been a Software Engineer in Dhaka, you would probably already know most of the leading developers in this branch already. They are quite known for their own accomplishments. You get to work with such a nice team. Check this fact yourself :)

    Cons

As a leading service provider of freight automation service, you may get into situations when work life balance may shift a bit. But thats practical, happens everywhere. The good thing is management is aware of this. They discussed about this issue several times and continuously trying to take decisions to avoid such situations.
