I have been working at Fremont Hospital as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Helping and supporting low income population who they suffer of mental health issues

    Cons

Shortness of experienced RNs, lack of daily resources

    Advice to Management

More training for the new staff , provid more resources at work place
Also I think pay must computable with other health centers

I worked at Fremont Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked with fantastic nurses! They are some serious tough ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you. Our techs were also fantastic. Great supervisors!

    Cons

The pay is atrocious. Unfortunately, the CEO doesn't really have any say in the matter. The hospital was bought by UHS, which is from some east coast state (Vermont, I think) and they have absolutely NO IDEA how to pay nurses in CA.

I worked at Fremont Hospital as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nursing staff is excellent on all wards. They all strive to do their jobs and they all show great team cooperation.

    Cons

Management completely unattached from primary workforce. No shared fundamental values. Management does not care about procedures and regulations, they care about what kind of pizza or donuts are served at the next meeting.

    Advice to Management

Have more compassion and consideration for your employees. Think about the working environment.

I have been working at Fremont Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fremont Hospital employees always work together to take care of their patients.

    Cons

When there are company events not everyone can go to the event because they would be at the hospital. The CEO would order food and have prizes for those that work.

    Advice to Management

    Great Training Hospital
