Feb 7, 2014 - Manager in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great job if you enjoy meaningful patient interaction and making a difference in their lives. Great clinical staff. Most are committed to patient care and are willing to work long hours and on days off - usually in the form of overtime. Like most healthcare companies, Fresenius runs lean. Clinical managers can expect to work long hours and on days off, usually with limited support. Managers must be comfortable wearing many hats and understand the importance of meeting clinical, quality, training, productivity and financial goals. Some managers can become overwhelmed.
Cons
Expect to work hard as a manager, if you can't make the commitment, you simply won't last. Staffing and scheduling can be an ongoing stress point.
