I have been working at Fresenius Medical Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Overtime getting to know the patients

    Cons

They don’t care about your personal life and time if they are short staff. Once they are fully staffed your hours will drop significantly. The equipment breaks down constantly putting you behind so then your day starts off bad because your late starting treatments. The managers are terrible and working in the clinic is like being in high school all over again. You are just a number and if you complain about anyone that person will know what you said.

    Advice to Management

    Pay attention to your employees

I have been working at Fresenius Medical Care full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    great PTO and benefit program

    Cons

no recognition for going above and beyond, growth really only for the RNs, merit raises(1-2% max) are 4% lower than the benefit cost yearly increases (its costing me money to work here) salaries far less than ARA and Devita, ( i make 2$ more than Techs i trained 15 years ago). indirectly "Retaliative" for speaking out.

    Advice to Management

Do a survey review for the TECHs in the in-center and chronic programs before you lose the best of us with all our PCT, administrative, bio-tech skills and knowledge to the competitors ( who are always looking). Do SOMETHING to recognize those RNs and Techs that represent the company at its best. Foster Growth for the techs not just the RNs. A CAP program for the techs for educational and financial growth is a motivation for the company.

    Pros

Good pay and benefits offered as well as a supportive cohort to bounce ideas off of

    Cons

No room for promotion or career growth. A LOT of micromanaging. Social Workers are asked to complete tasks that are not directly linked to our trained skill set.

    Advice to Management

Release on the micromanagement and allow Social Workers to utilize their skill set.

I have been working at Fresenius Medical Care full-time

    Pros

None this place is horrible , imagine working for an illegal sweat shop

    Cons

Management is lazy and does not care about your well being. You can end up getting 15-20 patients and still deal with a 200 caseload on top of it. Customer service calls ring off the hook, and there is no way to manage your case load. When you complain they don't care, how can you be an intake coordinator and take Verizon call center type calls? The process and management are so disorganized and they will have time to find errors in your work. Don't forget the constant verbal abuse from the patient referrals on the phone. People quit everyday, very high turnover!! This is the worst place to work for and unless you enjoy constant visits to the hospital due to stress.

    Advice to Management

Try and care about your employees instead of making them more stressed and overwhelmed. You know this place is horrible and you do not make an effort to fix it. One day only management will be left if you do not create an organized process and not pile on 5 different roles with little pay.

    Cons

Management doesn't really treat their staff good
pay to little for the excessive amount of work
You only can advance in this business if you are a nurse

    Advice to Management

Care about your staff as well as corporate appreciate your workers. From the bottom up is the only way to succeed.
