    Negative Outlook

I worked at Frontage Laboratories full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you need experience out of school, get in and get out. Otherwise seek employment elsewhere.

    Cons

Terrible management, doesn't respect their employees even good ones, poor compensation, poor review processes, poor working conditions, racial divisions very obvious.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to good employees and to accept change and ideas. Respect your employees. Don't agree to contracts you cannot meet with what you have.

    Pros

I worked at Frontage Laboratories full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Many opportunities for learning different laboratory test and techniques. A great resume builder.

    Cons

A smaller company with very little room for advancement. Laboratory safety is not a priority.

  8. "Broken promises (outright lies), unprofessionalism from the top"

    StarStarStarStarStar
      Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

      I worked at Frontage Laboratories

      Pros

Coworkers were good people — still in touch with many

      Cons

CYA runs rampant here. Client service quality is affected by disjointed communication between departments. People who play nice with the CEO are the only ones getting promoted, despite their background or expertise. A friend who interviewed for a Director level position received an offer with a Manager level position, completely different responsibilities. He took my advice and ran.

      Advice to Management

Do not lie to new hires. Do not expect to magically grow sales by 100% overnight.

      Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Frontage Laboratories full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Job security. Unless you are not performing as expected. There has been no layoff so far

      Cons

Too much workload and too many tight deadline. Sometimes you can not breathe with the pressure. The company will not promote you no matter how well you perform in less than 4 or 5 years. So you have to be there long enough to get a promotion

      Advice to Management

Try to pay attention to the process efficiency and make life easier for employee. Consider the actual contribution from each employee, not just the time s/he is in the company

    • "Roller coaster ride"

      StarStarStarStarStar
        Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Frontage Laboratories

        Pros

There are many hard-working and friendly individuals that work at this company.

        Cons

Lack of communication. Too much micromanaging and inefficient policies and politics. There are politics in every office but not to this extent. Favoritism. No considering for the employees and their well-being. Lack of reward and appreciation.

        Advice to Management

The needs of the company do not match the needs of the staff and vice versa. Communicate efficiently with your staff what the expectations and deadlines are for your projects and provide the staff with the tools and resources to get their job done correctly if you want to expand the company and business
