    Pros

So many openings for call-center employees. The only reason you wouldn't get hired is if you don't pass your drug test, have theft on your background, or your schedule doesn't fit with the strict first month of training. They have a special method of training on general communication styles that is effective and unique.

    Cons

Rough environment, as call centers usually are. The recruiting department is overworked and at times disorganized and rude.

I worked at Frontier Communications full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

None, good people in the technician group. Some decent low level managers. Medium level of benefits. Lump sum retirement option is a plus.

    Cons

Poor pay, outdated systems, poor employee recognition, constant take aways, very poor upper management, no balance between work and life. Very poor customer service. Too many chiefs, and not enough employees.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees, update systems. Recognise great employees. Make great customer service a priority. Not just talk from upper management.

I have been working at Frontier Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As far as a call center job goes, this job has been educational and useful because of the practical knowledge I gained. Frontier Communications tries really hard to keep the atmosphere upbeat and engaging. It is a good job as an in-between of sorts.

    Cons

The focus on statistics and numbers for commission can be a let-down especially when you're trying your best. You are dependent on customers hypothetical recommendation of the company (Capital One credit cards) to their friends and family for commission.

    Pros

I worked from an office in New York State. The general work environment was decent, with local management, and senior management being generally approving, and helpful in helping one succeed. The pay was fair, and the benefits good..

    Cons

Most managers had far too many people reporting to them. One local manager had about 80. The management style is a bit old-school. Strong focus on bringing in new revenue (of course), but the quality of products and service are severely lacking, which causes customer frustration and customer churn, which makes actual revenue growth challenging. Lastly, the company has a serious debt issue, which could be problemeti and suggest continued cost-cutting measures, i.e, workforce reduction.

    Advice to Management

Reduce management's span of control where possible. Focus not only bringing leading edge products to marke, but ensure the products can be properly supported.
