I have been working at Fuel Education full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I have the best group of people I work with! We have an amazing manager who leads by example!

    Cons

As a company, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Can be very discombobulated.

I have been working at Fuel Education full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Work from home.
    Clients are great.
    E-learning

    Cons

A lot of turn over. Leaders only care about their positions. Western region leaders have bad leadership skills scaring away all the good employees. At least 3 layoffs since I worked there for 4 years.

    Advice to Management

Turn over middle management, not your best lower level employees who actually do all the work and know the clients the best.

I have been working at Fuel Education full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Work from home
    Flexible schedule
Was a great company the first 4 years of employment

    Cons

Losing all of the great employees
FuelEd seems to be merging with K12
    No room for professional growth
Leadership team brings in their own people rather than promoting seasoned employees
    Zero focus on the employees

    Advice to Management

Take advice from employees who have been with the company for a long time. You are losing all the ones who know the products from the ground up and the ones you need. It has turned into a business who happens to be in the education field and no longer focuses on our goal.

    Pros

    Work from home, flexible hours

    Cons

    Salary below poverty
No respect for my personal experience

Teachers are treated as expendable and not properly compensated.

I worked at Fuel Education full-time

    Pros

This was a good company to work for until the last year executive changes. Good base salaries but I think this varies a lot.

    Cons

New team lacks understanding of business. Poor morale in sales. Comp plans are weak and often not in place. Finance makes all decisions. It’s all about the stock price.

    Advice to Management

Focus on results of students before stock price. Value and respect employee experience. Do all you can to make people love their jobs to stop massive turnover. Executives need to be out in field building client relationships- all departments .
